From 1 January 2021, your organisation will need to have an alternative transfer mechanism, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in place with EU counterparts to ensure you can keep personal data flowing.
There are currently no changes to the way you send personal data to the EU.
You will no longer be able to register or renew a .eu domain name if your business is established in, and you live in the UK.
Decide whether standard contractual clauses can help your business maintain the flow of data and use this toolkit to find out which SCCs are best for you.
Consider whether the services you provide in the EU are within the scope of the eComerce Directive, and if so, ensure that you are compliant with relevant requirements in each EEA country you operate.
