At More Than A Run we believe mental health is just as important as physical health and our sessions ensure the two go hand in hand. We have everything from wellbeing walks to running sessions to gentle exercise sessions which are all fun, friendly and accessible. These sessions are something that employees can be encouraged to tap into and are all low cost.
Sessions are held at Community based venues across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland and within the beautiful grounds of Ormesby Hall.
We also do 1-2-1 personal training sessions and group sessions.
Our switch off days for employees allow them to bond socially whilst getting active and learning ways to boost their physical and mental health. These interactive and participative days take the employee out of the work environment to allow the group to work together to change perceptions of physical exercise. Our experience shows this had a re-energising effect especially when combined with relaxation techniques. Small lifestyle changes are encouraged to boost mental health and build resilience so that staff can better support themselves and other colleagues.
